What are the age requirements for riding lessons?

Riding lessons are available starting at 4 years old, with age-appropriate programs tailored to different skill levels.

Are there any restrictions for participating in therapeutic riding programs?

Yes, our team will work with you to ensure a safe and comfortable experience based on your individual needs and goals. For clients diagnosed with Downs Syndrome, we require a doctor's approval. For those with devices necessary for assistance, we require a doctor's approval.

Do you provide equipment for riding?

We provide all necessary equipment for riding, including helmets and saddles that fit the client and horse. Just come ready to ride with closed toed shoes! We offer assistance mounting and dismounting with our easy to use safety ramp or mounting block.

At 1 Hope, we offer a wide range of horseback riding services including trail rides, that are not nose to tail, wagon rides, and therapeutic riding for deeper connection. 

Our experienced instructor, Heather Weyker, has a background competing, training, and is a PATH International Certified Therapeutic Riding instructor. For those who want training she is qualified for overseeing PATH hours.

🤠 NEW: Join Susan in a 7 person wagon and tour the scenic Ralston Creek Trail system in Arvada, Colorado. 

Our rescued horses are rehabbed at 1 Hope on our beautiful farm in Parker, Colorado. It truly takes a community!
